Optimum nutrition protein powder stopped making?

ok i buy optimum nutrition protein powder 100% whey gold and today my mum went to the protein shop and asked if they have it, but over 1 week the shelf is still empty so my mum asked when do they have it, and the guy said the company stopped making them, is this true because i love optimum nutrition and i drink it each time i finish working out and the results are very nice
