How to extend optimum cable tv to another room using 2 way splitter?

cable out let goes in the side with one plug... the other two plugs go to the tv's... tv's are set on channel 3... NOTE that this way you will have to watch the same show on both tv's... and the remote will have to be able to reach the cable box to change channels.
