What should I sacrifice for gaming?

when i comes to gaming a 6 core processor makes little difference cause very few game would actually use all 6 cores, plus some quad's allow hyperthreading which would basically bring it up to an 8 core processor. I personally run an i5 2500k overclocked to 4.0 ghz (which is unnecessary) but I would suggest 4gb of ram and invest in a water cooling system if you wanna overclock cause it weighs less and is nowhere near the size of a top of line heat sink. also i run an amd 6850 graphics card and unfortunately i could really use an upgrade.
