How to get on internet on xbox? 10 points.?

My router is an Optimumwifi, as most know, you need a password to get into it, even if unsecured, now, most PORTABLE devices have a feature to bring you to the site, to sign in, xbox, at least mine, does not do this, now how do i get into my optimum wifi? every-time i do it says "cant access internet. The may be a problem with your internet. turn your modem off and back on, then wait 30 seconds." well, i dont need to do that, cause im on the internet fine (obviously) and theres no other option, PLEASE HELP! 10 PTS!!!!
